Gifted Minds Boys High School is accessible to qualified students irrespective of where they come from or their ability to pay. We offer full scholarships to 20% of the total student population. Our future goal is to increase this percentage to 70%.
To qualify for scholarship considerations, student must demonstrate academic excellence and must be financially disadvantaged.
We aspire to make a difference in the community through our employees’ and students’ volunteer services and our investment in projects that will benefit the school and surrounding communities.
At Gifted minds Boys High School, we believe in giving back to the community and are encouraging all our employees to get involved. We are providing our students with diverse volunteer opportunities. We are partnering with private, government and non-government institutions to make this program a success.
Our employees are encouraged to devote their time and expertise to creating positive changes in our communities, and nationally. This gives them an opportunity to give back to the partner organizations and develop additional professional skills in diverse environments.
Students and teachers will be volunteering during holidays and weekends that are most convenient for all the parties involved. Volunteers will do any work that benefits our partners regardless of whether it is technical or manual. Activities may include facility-cleaning, working with the elderly or the disabled patients in hospitals, children in orphanages, teaching small business owners, data entry, mentoring primary school pupils, training small business owners on computer skills, etc.
Gifted Minds Boys High School is a one of the institutions that have made a commitment to work towards the achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals of eradicating extreme poverty beyond 2015. As part of our contribution to Kenya’s Vision 2030, we have pledged to make a difference in the lives of 2,000 families in Kenya by equipping them with strategic tools necessary to successively transform their social status from poverty to middle class by 2030.
